Sudan's Army Chief Abdel Fattah Burhan, has appointed Dafallah Al-Haj Ali as acting prime minister and Omar Seddik as Foreign Minister, following the military's recent recapture of much of Khartoum from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The RSF remains entrenched in parts of western Sudan, despite the army regaining control of the capital after two years of conflict.
