South Africa's Zulu Monarch Prince Nhlanganiso Zulu in partnership with the Non-profit organisation Right to Care, will today honour his father the late King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu by urging men to circumcise during men's health month. The Prince says men need to intensify the fight against HIV/Aids by getting circumcised. The late King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu was committed to enhancing men's health and cited medical circumcision as a proactive measure to prevent HIV/Aids. Medical male circumcision has been a core component of South Africa's HIV prevention strategy since 2010, preventing new HIV infections and saving lives.
Lulu Gaboo spoke to Sizwe Hlongwane, who is the Right to Care's Chief responsible for Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision.
