Members of the South African Democratic Teachers' Union (SADTU) have braved the rainy weather marching to the office of the National Treasury, the Department of Basic Education and the Department of Higher Education and Training in the country's capital Pretoria. The union says the march is in protest against the austerity measures that are undermining public service delivery particularly in education and threatening the constitutional right to quality education, especially for children from poor and working class backgrounds.
