The National Dialogue in South Africa, which kicks off today, continues to draw attention as citizens seek solutions to the country’s socioeconomic challenges. The Dialogue has sparked debate, with anti-corruption and social justice activist Dr Makhosi Khoza questioning the selection of participants.
In a statement, Khoza criticised the dominance of English and Afrikaans in business and education, which she says marginalises 75% of South Africans who speak Bantu languages. She is calling for inclusive policies, ethical governance, and support for black entrepreneurship to dismantle structural barriers and promote equality.
Lulu Gaboo spoke to Dr Makhosi Khoza to elaborate further on her sentiments.
