A protest was staged outside a mortuary in Kenya's capital, Nairobi following the death of a man in police custody.
The death of 31 year-old Albert Ojwang, in police custody, has sparked outrage in the country. Protesters held placards and chanted, Stop killing us, outside the Nairobi City mortuary where Ojwang's body is being kept.
Initially police said that Ojwang sustained head injuries after hitting his head against a cell wall, however the family lawyer has disputed this, saying Ojwang's body bore signs of severe physical trauma, including swelling on the head, nose and ears.
