Municipalities in South Africa’s Gauteng province were given an opportunity to present to the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) on the second day of the inquiry into the water crisis in the province on Wednesday.
The SAHRC launched the public inquiry following a massive influx of community complaints about systemic failures in water supply, sewage leaks, and poor water quality across major metros such as Johannesburg, Tshwane, and Ekurhuleni.
