The ongoing legal battle concerning the remains of former Zambian President Edgar Lungu has taken another dramatic turn. Just hours after a South African High Court ruled that Lungu’s body be repatriated to Lusaka for a state funeral, his family filed an application for leave to appeal the decision in South Africa’s Supreme Court of Appeal.
