A six-week strike by nurses in Kenya has ended after the government and the nurses' union signed a return-to-work agreement. Nurses are expected to return to hospitals within 24 hours, according to union Secretary-General Seth Panyako. The agreement gives the government and the union 45 days to conclude negotiations on implementing a collective bargaining agreement reached in 2017, following a six-month strike.
