Judge Julia Sebutinde is set to take over the presidency of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), as President Nawaf Salam steps down to help form Lebanon's next government at the request of newly elected President Joseph Aoun.
The Ugandan jurist was appointed to the ICJ in February 2012, making her the first woman from Africa to serve on the court.
