Four Southern African Development Community, SADC, member states have signed an agreement to scrap off mobile phone roaming charges by August this year.
The four - Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Botswana met in Kigali, Rwanda at a meeting of Ministers of Science and Technology, agreed that come August 2023, their citizens will call at normal within-country rate, without extra charges being incurred in roaming.
