Eight Kenyan Defence Force soldiers have been charged with trafficking narcotics linked to a methamphetamine seizure intercepted at sea in October 2025. The court was told that the drugs were valued at more than 63-million US dollars. The soldiers have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
