The Catholic Church has begun its ritual of selecting a new pope. 135 cardinals are in a secretive conclave to choose the successor to Pope Francis, who passed away on the 21st of April at the age of 88.
Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, in 1937 in Argentina, he chose Francis as his papal name in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi. But all eyes are on the Vatican, and in particular the Sistine Chapel which will reveal who the successor will be.
