Dr. Cathy Ikiror Mbidde from Uganda's Makerere University has called for a fundamental shift in how African higher education institutions prepare students for life after graduation.
Representing Makerere University at the 2nd International Conference on Higher Education, Teaching, Learning, and Student Support, currently underway at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in Pretoria, Dr. Mbidde emphasized the need to reimagine education with a focus on student support, innovation, and self-employment.
