The African Union Commission together with various partners are launching the Comprehensive African Agricultureal Programme (CAADP) Strategy and Action plan for 2026 to 2035 in South Africa.
CAADP has become the driving force behind Africa's agricultural transformation since its adoption in 2003 in Maputo, Mozambique, known as the Malabo Declaration.
Despite significant advances, no country has been on track to meet the Malabo CAADP goals and targets by 2025.
