Two major opposition figures in next month's elections in Côte d'Ivoire have been barred from running.
The Constitutional Council announced that former president Laurent Gbagbo and former Credit Suisse CEO Tidjane Thiam are ineligible to run. Meanwhile, President Alassane Ouattara, is seeking a fourth term at the age of 83.
