The Alexandra Regional Court in Johannesburg, South Africa, has sentenced Bellarmine Mugabe to 24-months in prison or a $24 000 fine for pointing a toy firearm, as well as 18 months imprisonment or a 12 000 US Dollar fine for being in the country illegally.
Meanwhile, his co-accused Tobias Matonhodze has been sentenced to 3-years imprisonment for attempted murder, 12-months for contravening the immigration act, 12-months for defeating the ends of justice and a further 12-months behind bars for possession of a firearm and ammunition.
