Amnesty International says abductions in Kenya could spark fear and more violence if left unchecked

View descriptionShare

Abductions in Kenya could spark fear and more violence if left unchecked, this is according to Irungu Houghton, Executive Director at Amnesty International Kenya. Houghton says several enforced disappearances have crushed the holiday spirit for many Kenyans as at least seven families are still searching for their loved ones.

Reports are that those disappearing are strong critics of the current government and president in that country.

Samora Mangesi spoke to Irungu Houghton, Executive Director at Amnesty International Kenya.
