South Africa's Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system is hearing from witnesses at the Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Facility in Pretoria. Today, murder-accused businessman Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala will testify following an earlier request to postpone the proceedings. Matlala had requested a postponement citing poor prison conditions and concerns over his health.
