In the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, where tradition meets cosmopolitan flair, the vibrant city of Cologne stands as Germany's fourth-largest metropolis - and its most international after Berlin. Known for its spirited Carnival, iconic Kölsch beer, and thriving media industry, Cologne isn't just about old cathedrals and riverfront strolls. It's a city that embraces diversity, creativity, and celebration at every corner. As Channel Africa is in Germany, we caught up with Marija Mijuskovic, a Serbian media student and resident of Cologne for the past three years, who gave our reporter Micheal Mbewe a vivid look into life in this liberal, multicultural hub - from its festive street culture to its economic lifeblood in television and beyond. Here's her story from the streets of Cologne.
