First established in 1954 - as Universal Children's Day - the day is celebrated on the 20th of November yearly - to promote unity and awareness among children worldwide - and improve their welfare.

South Africa's Deputy Minister of Small Business Development, Jane Sithole says the two day Inaugural Embassies Business Fair and Conference being held at the Modderfontein Golf Club in Johannesburg, Gauteng region emphasizes the need for opening doors for collaboration between nations in order to succeed.

Speaking to Channel Africa on the margins of the conference, Deputy Minister Sithole said that the gathering also serves as a vehicle for fostering easy cross border trade mechanism and show the globe that Africans can support one another.
