South Africa rolls out Lenacapavir at over 300 public health facilities to boost HIV prevention

Over three hundred public health care facilities in South Africa have been identified to administer the new anti-HIV injection - Lenacapavir. The drug was officially rolled out in the Mpumalanga province, last Friday. South Africa is one of the nine countries in sub-Saharan Africa to have secured access to the drug.  The launch was attended by senior government officials, health care practioners, HIV/AIDS activist and academics amongst others.
