South Africa's national department of health has used the occassion of the festive season births to send out a sterm warning against men who impregnate children under the legal age of sexual consent which is 16 year old. This after young girls were reported among the mothers who gave birth in the provinces of the North West, Mpumalanga and a the Eastern Cape province.
