South Africa (SA) is taking a decisive step toward closing the digital divide, with the launch of a comprehensive roadmap aimed at achieving universal high-speed broadband access by 2035.

 Developed by the Development Bank of Southern Africa in partnership with the National Planning Commission, the Digital Connectivity Investment Roadmap outlines the funding required, infrastructure gaps, and strategic actions needed to build an inclusive digital economy.

As the conversations around the coronation of an Igbo Nigerian King in the Esatern Cape Province's city of KuGompo intensify the Progressive Forces of South Africa (SA) a dynamic and transformative organization dedicated to promoting social justice is planning to stage a protest later today (Tuesday) outside the Nigerian Embassy in Pretoria.

Meawnhile on Monday protests resulted in cars being torched and several protesters being injured.

South Africa's (SA) Gauteng High Court, has dismissed former presidents Jacob Zuma and Thabo Mbeki's legal bid  to have retired Justice Sisi Khampepe to recuse herself as the Chairperson of the Judicial Commission into interference in the Truth and Reconcilliation Commission.

 Justice Khampepe was appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa last May to head the  cases.
