Botswana heads to the elections later this month and as part of our coverage we will be bringing you different stakeholders to discuss Africa's longest democracy.

President Mokgweetsi Masisi announced that he will seek a second term in office after being endorsed by his governing party.

Meanwhile, The Umbrella for Democratic Change or UDC affiliates, comprising the Botswana National Front (BNF), the Botswana Peoples Party (BPP), and the Alliance for Progressive (AP), gathered and formulated a strategy for the October 30th polls.

Masisi's ruling Botswana Democratic Party has been in power since independence from Britain in 1966.
