As the Democratic Republic of the Congo battles its worst-ever Ebola outbreak, United Nations peacekeepers say they are stepping up efforts to protect civilians from both the disease and ongoing attacks by armed groups. The Force Commander of the UN peacekeeping mission, MONUSCO, says troops have increased patrols to secure communities, treatment centres and health workers, while supporting local authorities and the World Health Organization's response.
