Rights Group Warns Xenophobia Is Threatening Migrant Workers in South Africa

The Casual Workers' Advice Office in South Africa says xenophobia against migrant workers is intensifying in the Gauteng Province. Its been more than a month since March and March protested against illegal migrants and CWAO says the situation is still extremely serious. The office says it has recorded a number of related incidents including 112 workers who reported being dismissed, suspended or prevented from working because of work permits, asylum documents, ZEP permits, spousal visas or other immigration documentation. Peter Ndoro spoke to CWAO organiser Andile Nyembezi.
