Malawi's 2024/2025 national pre-budget discussions have started in the country's commercial capital Blantyre. The purpose of these sessions is to elicit Malawians' thoughts on what should be included in the budget.
Finance Minister Simplex Chithyola Banda stated that the upcoming budget will address macro-economic as well as micro issues, and it will look to implement the "Golden Visa" scheme, which would allow foreigners to invest in the nation.
