A Commission of Inquiry, investigating allegations of corruption and fraud in the police service in South Africa, continues. Yesterday, suspended human resources head in the city of Ekurhuleni, Linda Gxasheka, took the stand at the Madlanga Commission. Gxasheka is one of the top Ekurhuleni officials who have been accused of protecting suspended city Metropolitan Police Deputy Chief, Julius Mkhwanazi, from facing disciplinary action.
