Welcome to the Tuesday edition of The Discourse, a daily feature on Rise and Shine, taking a closer look at the stories shaping the region and the world. This morning we turn our focus to the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where response efforts are being stepped up after the outbreak has already claimed lives, amid concerns over possible regional spread. Tsepiso Makwetla spoke to Dr Patrick Otim, Programme Area Manager for Emergency Response at the World Health Organisation's Regional Office for Africa.
