"High energy costs are hurting South Africa's mining industry"- Boston Consulting Group study
A study by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) reveals that high energy costs are hurting South Africa's mining industry, which contributes about eight percent to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
The report highlights a 4-gigawatt to 5-gigawatt energy supply deficit caused by Eskom's prolonged lack of investment in new capacity.
To further discuss this report, is BCG's Yandi Mini.
