In today's edition of The Discourse on Rise and Shine, we are following a major global convening on justice innovation taking place in Cape Town, South Africa. The gathering brings together formerly incarcerated leaders, academics, and policymakers from around the world, and marks the launch of the Global Freedom Consulting Agency-an initiative designed to bring lived-experience expertise directly into global justice reform practice. Justice innovation summit in Cape Town launches Global Freedom Consulting Agency initiative

Pope Leo XIV has embarked on a tour to Africa. He will visit Algeria, Cameroon, Angola and Equatorial Guinea. He is expected to deliver speeches and preside over several masses before returning on 23 April. The visit is expected to address global issues, including conflict, migration, corruption and human rights amid ongoing uncertainty linked to the Middle East war.  Peter Ndoro spoke to Dr Charles Sinkala  International Relations Expert.
