African Centre for Governance has conducted Pre-Election Assessment Mission  in Namibia ahead of elections

The African Centre for Governance Pre-Election Assessment Mission conducted its work in Namibia which is expected to hold one of the most intriguing elections on the continent.

The country will be electing a new president in November following the death in office of President Hage Geingob. The South West Africa People's Organisation or SWAPO which has been in power since Namibia gained independence in 1990 has chosen current Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah as presidential candidiate.
