A tragic boating accident has claimed dozens of young lives in northwestern Nigeria. An overloaded vessel carrying passengers to rice farms capsized in Sokoto State, with rescue teams and local divers still searching for victims.
Authorities say at least 40 bodies, most of them children, have been recovered, highlighting ongoing concerns about water transport safety in parts of Nigeria where such disasters occur frequently.
