Tanzania's opposition, CHADEMA party has called for the immediate release of all its members arrested during what it calls a peaceful commemoration of International Women's Day. The call comes after police in the country's Musoma region fired tear gas and apprehended members of BAWACHA, the women's wing of the CHADEMA party, arresting at least 39 attendees, including the party's Secretary General, Pamela Maassa.
