South Africa is ramping up border security and traveller support measures ahead of the busy Easter holiday period. Commissioner Michael Masiapato of the Border Management Authority (BMA) told media that a multi-departmental deployment plan aimed at protecting vulnerable travellers, improving infrastructure, and ensuring smoother movement at ports of entry will be established.
