Citizens of Senegal took to the streets of Dakar this past weekend to protest against the rising cost of living .The protests were part of the citizen-led "30 Days for Fair Prices" campaign, which encourages consumers to report excessive prices and pressure authorities to act.
Senegal is grappling with rising living costs, high unemployment and concerns over public debt, increasing pressure on households already struggling to meet everyday expenses.
