The Kenyan government says the death toll from heavy rains and flooding in the capital of Nairobi and surrounding areas, has nearly doubled to 42. Floods have pummeled the region in recent days, drowning some residents, washing away a number of vehicles and disrupting traffic at the country's largest airport. Local resident, Eric Orimbo says his friend and a colleague died when the car they were travelling in was submerged on Friday afternoon.
