As South African President Cyril Ramaphosa tables his State of the Nation report tomorrow, he will update the country on implementation of the National Strategy to Accelerate Action for Children (NSAAC), a whole-of-society strategy to fast-track progress for children and teenagers. We speak now to 18-year-old Bontle Motatsa who says too many children feel unsafe at home and in their communities, while nearly 8 million live in food poverty. She adds that recent statistics show that one in four South Africans don't have enough food to eat, and asks if so, so how can they feed their children? Bontle spoke to Tsepiso Makwetla
