The two-day Africa Month Symposium and Festival, hosted by the Kara Heritage Institute in collaboration with the African Renaissance Forum and the Pan African Parliament, has wrapped up this Friday afternoon South Africa's capital Pretoria. The event focused on advancing the African Renaissance, fostering African unity and development, and highlighting the enduring value of indigenous knowledge systems. Held under the theme, "The Decolonisation of the African Mind for Self-Reliance and Self-Sufficiency," the symposium aimed to free Africans from the lingering effects of colonial mental slavery.
