While predominantly spoken in India, this linguistic connection resonates across borders, finding a place in neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, where Hindi is understood and spoken.

From its inception, the vision for ACT Desi was to create a platform to address the challenges faced by migrants, amplify local success stories, and impart knowledge about Indian cultures and traditions. More than just a community radio show; it serves as a bridge between our motherland, India, and our adopted home, Australia, embracing and respecting diverse cultures and values.

Today, I am thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our journey. After four successful years of nurturing ACT Desi, it has officially become an incorporated Association, known as ACT Desi Inc. This transformation empowers us to engage with the community on a broader scale and deliver the focused outcomes we aspire to achieve as we continue to grow.

I remember a brand tagline for one of the biggest fortune 500 companies I had privilege to work with, Tata Technologies. The tagline was simple yet effective, "Better and Better". Personally and professionally I follow the same principle and believe it is the only way one can grow!
