The countdown has ended, but the compliance race is just beginning. In this episode of "A Matter of Law," host Marion Guertault and other local employment practitioners from across Europe discuss the fragmented rollout of the EU Pay Transparency Directive following the June 2026 deadline.

While Italy has already enforced strict compliance measures, countries like France and the Netherlands have delayed implementation to 2027 to ease administrative burdens. Other countries, including Germany and Spain, are continuing to draft legislation. Despite these varying timelines, the panel warns of rising litigation risks as courts interpret current disputes in light of the directive.
