Edgewood Care Centre Limited has decided to close its facility by September 2026. The Centre points the closure due to old infrastructure and not finding a purchaser that would continue to operate the facility. Bonnie Ashford tells Ottawa at Work with Patricia Boal that her son has been living there for nearly 30 years and she is not sure where he will be able to go.
