VKS: Dalhousie vet recounts rare rescue of endangered green sea turtle from hypothermia

Scottie the green sea turtle is now enjoying the warm waters of Bermuda, after being caught up in the Bay of Fundy a couple weeks ago and suffering acute hypothermia. Luckily, she was found on the beach and brought to life-saving experitse.

Dr. Chris Harvey-Clark, Director of Animal Care at Dalhousie University and his wife, vet Dr. Patricia Pryor, got to work bringing Scottie back from the brink at their home. Dr. Harvey-Clark, who has 35 years of experience working with sea turtles, joins Vassy Kapelos to walk through the whole process.
