Quebec Premier Francois Legault calls it an "electroshock." He says the pandemic has worsened in recent weeks so he has announced a drastic lockdown for his province until February 8th.
He says there will be a four-week curfew starting Saturday from 8 p-m to 5 a-m. In addition grocery stores will have to close at 7:30 at night, and people must stay home for all but essential reasons. Yesterday Legault told Quebecers he knows this will not be easy.
