World Lymphoma Day is September 15th and it’s a day that’s on the minds of 100,000 Canadians. That’s because it is a battle they are currently fighting. In a show of support, a month-long challenge is being held to raise awareness about this disease, and to also explain how this battle is impacting the families affected. The mission: Walk 100,000 steps in 15 days. Local advocate Tammy Copp is the Ontario Representative for the Planning Committee for the 2026 Laps Around Lymphoma Challenge. Tina Copp is her sister. And as CFRA’s Andrew Pinsent tells us, this mission hits close to home for the two sisters, as both of their parents are battling Lymphoma.
