Sindy Hooper, a longtime runner and competitive athlete, raised over half a million dollars in support of cancer research at The Ottawa Hospital across many years before ultimately passing away following a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer.

Sindy's legacy lives on now through the Make Every Moment Count Crew fundraising this year at Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend.

Chris Holski is joined by Dr. Jon Hooper, Sindy’s widow and Medical Director for Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, and Janet McKeage, Sindy’s best friend and Chair, Board of Directors, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, with more on her life and what they are doing to keep her memory moving forward.
