Councillor Brockington to lead new process after City Council approves Trump Avenue renaming

The era of Trump Avenue in Ottawa’s Central Park neighbourhood looks to be hitting bankruptcy. Well, the street name itself. The neighbourhood is in good hands. Ottawa City Council approved a motion from River Ward councillor Riley Brockington to lead the renaming process, something that Brockington and a crowd of residents have been pushing for since 2021. Brockington explained the next steps in a conversation with reporters this week.

This week's City Issues Panel tackles a number of issues in municipal news and the election campaign, including new polling numbers from Ottawa’s mayoral race.
