An Ottawa woman had a historic weekend at the track as she won two gold medals and broke her own world record in the W70 category. Wendy Alexis won the W70 50 metres with a time of 7.81 seconds and then later ran the 60 metre event with a time of 9.07 seconds, breaking her own world record. To make this even more impressive…she was battling the flu the whole time.
