Ottawa city council spent hours Wednesday debating who was best suited to investigate the city’s problem-plagued LRT system. A judicial inquiry into the system was suggested by Councillor McKenney, while Councillor Gower proposed an investigation that would be spear-headed by Ottawa’s Auditor General, citing the judicial inquiry as too expensive and time-consuming.
