12 days ahead of the October 26th municipal election, a quartet of mayoral candidates dropped by the CTV Ottawa studios for a big debate. Mark Sutcliffe, Jeff Leiper, Neil Saravanamutto, and Alex Lawson were the Top 4 pollers, and they received the invite to attend this morning’s showdown. If you weren’t able to tune in live, you can re-watch it anytime on the CFRA YouTube page. Now, debates don’t always spark a political comeback, but they are certainly capable of taking a campaign down. Did anyone lose significant ground because of what happened today? Joining us for a special edition of the Reality Check Panel are former River Ward councillor Maria McRae, former Kitchissippi councillor Christine Leadman, and former Knoxdale-Merivale councillor Keith Egli.
